In September 2002, 38 new housing units were built in the city in apartment buildings A2 and A3 in the U Nemocnice locality. House A1 with 74 residential units was the first to be built in this locality. Two years later, the construction of the A4 house with 34 residential units and 38 garage spaces was completed. The appearance of apartment buildings A2 and A3 came from an invited architectural competition. Based on it, the design of AP ATELIER by Josef Pleskot, Radek Lampa and Filip Tittelbach was selected. The basic compositional principle of buildings is the irregular design of three prismatic volumes (floors) on top of each other so that the overlaps of individual materials create receding floors, terraces, loggias, balconies and covered entrance areas. In terms of layout, it is a loggia house. The access gallery (so-called Pavlač) is a continuation of public roads and is freely accessible. Two so-called special-purpose flats were built in the A3 apartment building - specially adapted for the use of disabled people. These special-purpose flats of 1 + kk and 2 + kk will be rented by the City of Litomyšl. The condition for allocating an apartment is a disability I. - III. degree (TP or ZTP card, or ZTP / P).
