If, during a walk round the castle hill, you feel like a rest we recommend you visit the Monastery Gardens. This beautiful municipal park lies next to the castle grounds, overlooked by Litomyšl’s two churches. The gardens were created in 2000 to a design by Zdeněk Sendler, Radko Květ and Václav Babka. Here you can see statues by Olbram and Jasan Zoubek which surround the pool in the centre of the park. The park also has a beautiful panoramic view of the town and is just a few steps away from the Piarist Church, which is definitely not to be missed.
